How is it June already? Time is flying by, but we use the word ‘summer’ lightly so as not to scare away the already sporadic sunshine. On more than one occasion we have had sandals in the rain/docs in the sun situations, it’s hard to keep up, and dressing for all weather eventualities is a must.
Now, we are fast approaching the half way mark of 2017, so let’s get you up to speed with all things Zeitgeist. Firstly, you may have noticed a new face around the salon recently, so we’d like to officially welcome Anne to the Zeitgeist Team! She’ll be joining Front of House and her specialist skills include, but are not limited to, making some excellent baked goods. Lemon drizzle and Victoria Sponge….yum, yes please!In other important news, after three years we shall be implementing a small price increase across all services in accordance with increased costs, the new prices will go into effect as of Saturday 1st July. As ever we thank you for your continued support.
The arrival of June brings with it, Father’s Day on Sunday 18th June. So why not treat your dad to a something special at Zeitgeist. We have gift vouchers starting from just £5, products and of course cuts, cut&wet shave packages and Indian head massages.
We are gearing up for the Hebden Bridge Art’s Festival, and with the help of Kingfisher Flowers we will shortly be adorning our windows with an assortment of wellington boot flower pots. If you want to get involved you can collect wellies and How To sheets from the town hall and make your own displays.
We’ve also had a refresh inside the salon, with a lick of paint here and there, some pops of colour downstairs and a fresh coat of oil on the stairs. You can’t help but have a big clear out when prepping for a decorator, and now the salon feels clutter free and cleansed.
In the spirit of feeling fresh and and spruced up for the warmer months, why not pop in and talk to one of our talented stylists about going shorter, brighter or bolder this summer. From feeling the breeze on the back of your neck to adding a few sun-kissed highlights, now is the time, the time is now!
