We’ve had the Arts festival, open studios in the salon with Talya Baldwin, the Tour De France,
Streetchoir festival and now it’s holiday season!

Hooray!
We’re off on our holidays so it has been quite difficult to fit everybody in for appointments but don’t fret, there’s always means and ways if you give us as much notice as possible.
At the moment we’re hearing about passport chaos and last minute packing and before long we’ll hopefully be seeing some very tanned, cool chilled out (more than usual) people in the salon.

Amy’s adventures

Amy has some exciting news. She will be spending 10 weeks travelling around Chile and Peru seeing the sights and the amazing things of South America! She will be jetting off on September 20th, she hopes to see you for a snip and a chop before she goes. She’ll be back for the first week of December, ready for all your Christmas party haircuts!

Time for tea
Karen’s adjusting to life as a new mum, filling her baby days with swimming, singing and all kinds of baby related activities. Remember she’s in the salon Friday & Saturday’s offering late appointments to accommodate the after-work commuter crowd.

Product feature
We have just received the new invisible oil products for holiday hair with UV and Heat protection.
There is a travel size pack which de-frizzes, detangles and protects (against bad hair days). The sublime secret is that each product is infused with Bumble and Bumble Hairdressers Blend of 6 featherlight oils to transform hair without weighing it down.

Baby faces
Here are some pics of our team as children and their first hairdressing experiences.

Amanda – my mum always used to cut my hair when I was little. She said that my hair always dried naturally into a perfect bob! It got much coarser and curlier as I grew up and now it takes a lot of effort to get my hair that smooth and shiny!

Kellie Robinson
When colour technician Kellie was just three, she got the kitchen scissors and ran outside to the side of the house where she thought it would be great fun to cut all her hair off! Her brother who was ten at the time found her and ran inside to their mum shouting “She’s cut it! She’s cut it!” Her poor mum was

Kellie had her first nursery picture taken but her mum hated it because she looked like a boy! In this picture it had all grown back, extra long and lovely, phew.
Look out for more pictures in the next newsletter…
