Baby baby!
Congratulations to Becky and Phil on the arrival of Heidi Rose! She was born on the fourth of January weighing a healthy 7llb 5oz. We can’t wait to meet her.
Kellie is also expecting, its her first, and its very exciting!
Becky and Kellie’s planning has been perfect for Zeitgeist, there will be no gap in service, as Becky will be back at the end of January and Kellie will break at the beginning of February, so you can book your colour service as usual.
Amy has many captivating stories from her recent travels in South America. Amy and her boyfriend Justin hired a campervan for a portion of the trip in the Atacama desert in Chile. They stopped to camp in the Luna valley – named so because it is the driest place in the world and the landscape resembles that of the surface of the moon. At night, it is one of the darkest places in the world. You can see millions of stars, and the milky way is beautifully clear. There is an 
observatory there which was used in a James Bond film. They spent two nights travelling across the desert under the pure blue sky, extremes of hot during the day and cold at night. Kate has a photo of her son’s recent travels of a barber shop in Rwanda, a stark comparison to life here in the UK. If you have any travel photos or hair cutting experiences abroad, please do share!

Baby faces… Here’s Kaye as a baby! One of Kayes earliest hair memories was her mother telling her that because her hair was curly, it wouldn’t grow. So as soon as it was long enough to go in pigtails, Kaye was taken to the hair dressers to have it all chopped off. Throughout her life she had short hair believing it would never grow! She always dreamed of having long flowing locks. It wasn’t until she was 16, when she embarked on a career in hairdressing that a colleague suggested that she should grow her hair long. With which she repeated, ‘my hair won’t grow long!’. So her colleague suggested, why don’t you grow it and see how long it gets. So she grew it and grew it and grew it and before long she resembled Rapunzel!Plans for 2015
We are looking towards the next photoshoot in early February, a friendly get together with lots of local businesses. We cannot wait to reveal the theme and details as we are bursting with ideas, so look out for our next news letter.
