Zeitgeist - The spirit of now

We’re steaming ahead with the Movember campaign. Local men and businesses are getting involved and all our free shaves for the first of November are now booked.
Moustache growers will include Ed Chadwick owner of Snug Gallery, Warren of Yorkshire Soap and HOME OH fame, Rob who is HOME OH’s new manager, Bruce from Heptonstall Deli, Owen from the Cross at Heptonstall, James Russell from Positive Thought Web Design, Neil Coles, Richard Woodhouse and Mark Holman.

Although all the free shaves are booked we are still looking for willing men to join us in supporting this very worthwhile charity and raising funds for Prostate Cancer and Testicular Cancer Research. You can call in to the salon to pick up sponsorship forms. Please don’t be put of by feeling pressured to raise a huge amount of money, this campaign is as much about raising awareness as it is about fundraising.

We in the salon will be doing our bit throughout Movember by sporting knitted mustaches (but not all the time)

At the end of Movember we will be celebrating the mustaches at the Cross Inn in Heptonstall where all participants and supporters are invited to join us.
