International stylist brings her talents to Hebden Bridge

Karens work was used to launch the advertising campaigns for last Octobers Salon International, in their words “The Worlds Most Inspirational Hair Show” with over 200 exhibitors and thousands of people travelling from all over the world to be there.

An award-winning international hair stylist Karen Hood, who trained at Vidal Sassoon and has travelled the world showcasing her talents, is the latest member of the Zeitgeist team.

The Zeitgeist team are delighted to welcome Karen on board.

“She is an amazingly talented stylist as well as a very lovely person and we’re all excited to be working with her.”

Karen, originally from Rossendale, has worked for some of the country’s leading hairdressers, including Sassoon’s and Mahogany.

Her work as both a stylist and teacher has taken her all over the world, to destinations such as Los Angeles, China, Russia and cities across Europe.

Highlights of her career include being named Vidal Sassoon Teacher of the Year and being invited to demonstrate her talents for the launch of the Chinese edition of Estetica magazine in Shanghai.

Karen is delighted to be returning to her Northern roots and the intimacy of a boutique salon like Zeitgeist.
