Last Saturday we had a five page spread in the fashion section, the theme of the photo shoot was based on the 1949 film ‘A Boy, a Girl and a Bike’. Part of it reads “Deborah Wilkinson, of Zeitgeist Hair in Hebden Bridge, explained: “a few years ago Honor Blackman came to Hebden Bridge as part of the arts festival, and they showed it then. Most people in Hebden Bridge went to see it because it was filmed around here.” Zeitgeist created the hair looks for the shoot, while Chrissy King, of Hat Therapy, provided the beautiful hats and headgear.” It was a collaboration of local businesswomen to welcome the coming to Yorkshire of the Tour de France. EDUCATION
imageWe are great advocates for continual education at Zeitgeist Hair and we were very fortunate to have had a hair demonstration from Bea Watson who is the Bumble and Bumble LIVE Educator of the North.
We all met up in the salon for the afternoon to watch Bea, inspire us with the styles she had worked on, during London Fashion Week and what products to use to achieve them, you will have to come in and try some.
The spray chalk for spray today (gone tomorrow) colour effects is great fun.
Karen: “Hair from today’s demonstration .. Great day lots of tips and tricks and the added bonus of cheese to nibble on!”
