Salon News
As I write this blog on the 12th of December, I wonder what might be in store for us all in the next 24 hours… will we be celebrating or commiserating? What I do know though that in either situation, a cut and colour at Zeitgeist will always be a positive experience and we do have appointments available before Christmas. Please call myself or Beth and we will be more than happy to secure an appointment for you.
In Salon news, we now have Jules working at Zeitgeist and as an emerging stylist, she is offering cut and finishes for £40 or £30 if you are a student and £20 if you are a child. Please call 01422 844974 to book an appointment or a consultation with Jules, who works on Tuesdays, Thursdays and some Sundays.
From February, Amy will be working alternate Wednesdays alongside her current days of Friday one week, Saturday the next.
In product news, we have some fabulous gift packs on sale, which would make the most perfect Christmas present. Both gift packs offer great value as they are worth £41 but are on sale for £25 and are guaranteed to make someone in your life very happy (I wonder if my husband reads this blog, just saying!). The Sleigh Belles gift pack contains a travel size invisible oil shampoo and conditioner and a full-size invisible oil primer. My gorgeous job share Beth (who has equally gorgeous hair!) loves this range, so if you would like to know more about it speak to Beth or any of our knowledgeable stylists.
The More the Merrier gift pack contains a travel size thickening shampoo and conditioner and a standard size dryspun finish. The shampoo and conditioner are great for producing volume in fine, heat styled hair and the dryspun finish provides lightweight volume and hold; perfect if you want to create party hair. Kaye particularly loves this product, so if you want to find out more about what it could do for you, please pop in and ask us.
In baking news, I have been experimenting with the wonderful recipes found in The Simple Things magazine we have in the salon. I love this magazine and it inspired our Christmas window this year as we asked our clients to write a simple thing that brings them joy at Christmas time and we have had some lovely responses. This month the magazine featured a recipe for cinnamon swirl biscuits and after my boys got over the initial excitement of the fact that the biscuits were for them and not for work their verdict was that they were delicious. Take a look in the magazine at this recipe when you are next in and get swirling.
So, from all us at Zeitgeist, we wish you all a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I myself am just wishing for four well-behaved boys for two weeks, or perhaps that would be a Christmas miracle…
So here’s to 2020 and for those of you who may need a glimmer of hope for the future, don’t forget to put March 28th in your diary to celebrate 9 years of Zeitgeist as we are having a party at the Trade’s Club and you are all invited; my dancing is sure to put a smile on your face!
That’s all for now,
Anne – Reception
